Thera-Pede is owned and operated by Jennifer Englese, PT who is a graduate of Quinnipiac University. Jennifer is a licensed and school certified Physical Therapist with well over 10 years experience. She has extensive experience working in public and private school settings, as well as, home-care with children of all ages and abilities. Jennifer has expertise working with assistive technology and evaluating for assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs and orthotics. She is trained in numerous therapeutic techniques such as: NDT (neurodevelopmental treatment), sensory intregration techniques, kinesiotaping, ball handling, yoga for the pediatric population and assistive technology assessment and treatment. Jennifer believes in the importance of being up-to-date with current treatment trends, research and therapy equipment. She is a firm believer in continuing education. Jennifer has also lectured on numerous topics including: OT, PT, ST Infusion in the Classroom, Adaptive Physical Education and Back Safety. Jennifer is extremely proud of her company and can assure you that you will be pleased with the friendly service, hands-on care and experienced and knowledgeable therapists.
